Northern Strand Community Farm (NSCF) Established in 2016 as Everett’s First Urban Farm.
In 2016, through a land inventory and assessment in Everett, Everett Community Growers found a farm location. At the NSCF we harvested and donated all of our produce to the Bread of Life Food Pantry in Malden. We also conduct workshops, gatherings, order ahead pick-ups, and so much more at the farm.
Since 2016, we have grown every year. With the addition of our Youth Crew, we incorporated youth jobs and skill development into our farming season.
In 2020, we held our first Farmstand at NSCF! In 2021, we were unable to use the site due to construction, but after a successful reopening in 2022, we were able to harvest an incredible amount of healthy, organic produce for sale to our community and schools!
