What are Food Policy Councils?
Food policy councils bring together organizations, public agencies, and individuals with the goal of improving the local food system.
The councils advocate for policies, build relationships, and share best practices. Councils operate in a variety of ways and take on many different issues, but they all share the goal of supporting a food system that best serves their communities.
