About

As the Associate Director of Research and Evaluation, Ellie will incorporate Participatory Action Research (PAR) and other community based participatory methods into ECG’s work. Ellie will work closely with ECG Staff and regional partners to lead the day-to-day management of the Healthy Neighborhoods Study (HNS).

Ellie attended UMASS Boston and received her bachelors in Women’s, Gender, & Sexuality Studies. As well as Theater Arts. She holds a graduate certificate in Positive Youth Development and Social Equity. Currently she is in her Masters program at Northeastern University where she is studying International Affairs with a concentration in Sustainability and Climate Change Policy.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Ellie finds joy in spending time with family, caring for her two fur babies, and doing outdoor activities. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, and dabbling in different artistic mediums. Ellie is thrilled to be joining Everett Community Growers, where she can contribute her talents to foster youth development, urban agriculture, and food justice.
