POSITION: Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Coordinator

HOURS: 20 hours/week (seasonal, from May – November) 

COMPENSATION: $18-$20/hour (depending on experience) plus free weekly produce share

Working off our previous farm retail success, ECG is piloting a CSA model in 2022. The CSA Coordinator position is a new and exciting opportunity to work alongside ECG’s core staff (Farm Manager, Manager of Youth Engagement and Development, Operations Manager, and Youth Crew) to create a successful program and help it run smoothly from week to week.

Strong candidates will have enthusiasm for urban agriculture and food justice, a commitment to health and racial equity, excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluency in English + Spanish or Portuguese strongly preferred), understanding of and commitment to language justice, excellent organization and customer service skills, and a demonstrated ability to work independently and with a team. POSITION: Community Coordinator

HOURS: 35-38 hours/week

COMPENSATION: $22/hour, four weeks paid time off and free weekly produce share from June – November

Everett Community Growers (ECG) and La Comunidad, Inc. (LCI) are pleased to announce that we are hiring a Community Coordinator who will work with and between our two organizations to develop, build and support resident-led community power and decision-making to ensure that the interests, rights, and benefits of a just, diverse and equitable community are represented in all levels of the city. 

Central to this work is the One Everett Coalition, an organizing coalition advocating for municipal policies and systems that work toward a just and equitable Everett, ensuring that issues of racial, economic, social and environmental injustice are addressed in housing stability, climate resiliency, food systems, public education, and language access, among others. This position would be responsible for coordinating the work of the coalition while ensuring that LCI and ECG activities are integrated into One Everett’s work.

Strong candidates will have excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluency in English + Spanish or Portuguese strongly preferred), strong time management, project management and multitasking skills, knowledge and/or understanding of coalition building and organizing, understanding of and commitment to language justice, and a demonstrated ability to work independently and with a team.
